Conference will be held this weekend. We talked briefly about the history of conference. It was usually held over a three-day period which always included April 6. In 1977 under Spencer W. Kimball a change was made to the two-day conference as we know it today. As a gathering activity we held the first Senior Seminary
Buffalo Games. The games included...fishing, shooting rubberband guns, apple bobbing, crockette and cooking over a fire. We ate bread on a stick coated in cinnamon sugar. Our winners were awared medals of honor. Everyone left smelling like a campfire but we had a good time.
Luke played his violin for devotion. The hymn, "If I could high to Kolob" it was beautiful. Thank you Luke for sharing your talent with us.
